Senja is a Nusantara-inspired tea brand shaped by the rhythm of the sun and the quiet transitions of the day. Drawing from the meaning of senja – the fleeting moment between light and dark, the identity frames tea as a companion from morning calm to evening stillness.

My work spanned Senja’s visual identity, including the logo system, colour palette, typography, and packaging direction. At its core, the logo is a circular emblem built around sun and wave motifs, using the “S” in Senja to form a soft ripple – an abstract reference to tea viewed from above. The mark reflects the unhurried, meditative flow of the day through balanced symmetry and gentle curves.

The colour palette draws from soft, pastel batik hues, introducing a light cultural warmth while maintaining a calm, airy presence. Inspired by the landscapes of the Nusantara, the visual language features ginger flowers at sunrise, Mount Kinabalu under the midday sun, and pinisi boats drifting into evening. Paired with contemporary batik-inspired patterns, the identity captures tea as a ritual of pause, rhythm, and quiet reflection.
