Animation Nation aims to promote animation to the wider community, highlight that animation is not just meant for children and broaden the exposure of less mainstream animations. Previous editions showcased a diverse selection of award-winning animation titles from all over the world including Aardman Animation, Oscar®-winner Adam Elliot, Oscar®-winner Michaël Dudok de Wit, Satoshi Kon, Pixar Animation Studios and Oscar®-nominee Bill Plympton.
As the Festival Designer, my role encompassed creative conceptualization, art direction, and graphic design. Tasked with crafting the festival's identity, I developed the key visual and designed essential collaterals including posters, social media assets, and the festival booklet. The design exudes a playful and fun personality, aligning with the vibrant and diverse world of animated films showcased at the festival, which aims to promote animation to a wider audience and feature acclaimed titles from around the globe.
